WITH his new beard, it looks like ROBERT PATTINSON is fast turning from a vampire into a werewolf.

The Twilight star gave his fans something else to Robsess over as he sported the new face fuzz on a post-Christmas day out with his sister LIZZY in Barnes, South-West London.

RPatz once admitted that until he was 12 his sis used to dress him up as a girl and introduce him to pals as Claudia.

He said: "Twelve was a turning point as I moved to a mixed school and then I became cool and discovered hair gel."

Läste nyss på MSN´s startsida att Taylor (Lautner) har dumpat Taylor (Swift). Vet inte om jag ska tro på det, MSN´s rykten och artiklar kommer ju alltid vara MSN´s rykten och artiklar om ni fattar ;)

Är det ljudet av hundratusentals suckar av lättnad vi hör? Taylor Lautner uppges nämligen ha gjort slut med namnen Taylor Swift.  

Enligt Us magazine har ”Twilight”-stjärnan och countrysångerskan bestämt sig för att gå skilda vägar efter tre månaders dejtande. 

— Det ledde aldrig någonstans och de bestämde sig för att det var bättre att bara vara vänner, avslöjar en av Swifts nära vänner för veckotidningen.  

— De hade ingen personkemi och allt kändes bara tvunget.  

Källan beskriver ett förhållande som rann ut i sanden, men själva uppbrottet skedde när Lautner, 17, reste till Nashville för att gå på Swifts 20-årsfest den 13 december.  

— Han gillade henne mer än hon gillade honom. Han reste överallt för att träffa henne, men det gjorde inte hon.

NEW Moon star Charlie Bewley says the third film in the Twilight Saga, Eclipse, is going to be very dark.

Såg det här på TCA och fick en chock! Trodde inte att det var möjligt men det stod att Eclipse har lagt till medlemar till casten men nu när jag tänker om så har dom säkert inte lagt till dom nu, utan dom har bara inte sagt ngt ;) Men som TCA skrev så om man går in på Eclipse sida på IMDB.com så står det på cast listan att tre nya har kommit till. Take a look at yor self!

Nikki gjorde nyligen en interjuv med Venice Magazine dör hon pratade om Rosalie och hennes nya film K-11 som hon spelar in tsm med Kristen Stewart!;)

Venice: Talk about some of the opportu­nities that have opened up for you in the past year. Or have you even had time to enjoy them, you’ve been so busy.

Nikki Reed: It might take a couple of years before I can properly reflect on this whole thing. It’s been really crazy and everything is moving so fast that it’s hard to see it from an outside perspective...
I’m not a household name, I don’t think that I am, but if you mention the name Twilight now there’s an instant connection between you and whoever the person is in the world because they know what it is. And so it’s given me an opportunity to meet really cool actors that I idolize. You can say you’re in Twilight and they sort of get that maybe you get their insane world for half a second. And the cool thing is a lot of these actors have kids that love Twilight much more than they love their parents’ work because their parents are just their parents. But some really famous woman sent a letter to Rob saying, “Hey, will you sign something for my children? I’ve sent you some script covers to sign.” It’s just really incredible...

And it’s also weird to be so focused on what you look like physically. I’ve never worked on a film where I’m as concerned with things that seem so superficial. But how we look is really important, especially when you’re playing these characters that people really feel a connection with. They feel like they know them and not just because they’ve seen them on the big screen, but before that. So you want to make sure you look right and it’s really frustrating because sometimes it feels like it’s out of your control. And it’s never gonna be perfect and the word perfect seems to me like a very common word that’s used when describing us and that throws you off as well. It’s like, “What is perfect?” I don’t know.

Do you feel like there’s a similarity to what you went through with Thirteen?

There is a similarity, there is a connection, there totally is. That was like a cult phenome­non, obviously on a much smaller scale, but that was still something that made people want to know the person, want to connect with the person, want to ask the person questions. There were no boundaries with that movie, just like I feel there are no bound­aries with this.

What can you tell us about K-11?

I just don’t know what’s happening with it, but Jules Stewart, Kristen [Stewart]’s mom is directing. She wrote it as well, with a writing partner. Kristen and I both love the project; we hope it gets made, obviously. But other than that I don’t know what else to say ’cause we don’t have a start date and we’re kind of all wrapped up in this, she and I. So at least I know when my schedule is free, maybe hers will be free. We sort of know where the other one’s at. But we want to make it. It’s a great project and it’s an opportunity for me to play something that couldn’t be farther away from my situation, and people will no longer have the opportunity to say she’s playing herself. Even though I couldn’t have lived on my own, paid rent, tried to finish high school, without even having a dri­ver’s license, I couldn’t have done all those things if I was this crazy insane lunatic, which is the character I keep playing. Except in Twilight, which is also another great reason I’m happy to be a part of this, because of the mass exposure and the difference in what I’m playing. K-11 I get to play a role so different than myself and I always play roles different than myself. In fact, Ros­alie is the closest thing I’ve ever played to myself. It depends on how you look at her, but in terms of how protective she is over her family, and how loving she is, and not in a condescend­ing way, in a mature, wise way, how she can look at the big picture and see what’s best for her and her family. And I feel like that’s the role I’ve sort of always played.

It's the end of December, which means we're knee-deep in the annual awards season. The nominations for the Golden Globe Awards came out earlier this week, and the Screen Actors' Guild Awards nominees were announced this morning. Though the Academy Award nominations won't be announced until February 2, the Oscars have sent out the list of the 63 original songs from films that will be eligible for a nomination in the Best Original Song category. There are a handful of soundtrack tunes from blockbusters (like Linkin Park's "New Divide," from "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen"), plenty of foreign fare and a ton of Miley Cyrus tracks.

But there's one song that really stands out: Lykke Li's "Possibility," which comes from the soundtrack to "The Twilight Saga: New Moon." The moody piece is one of the standouts from the excellent soundtrack (which also features Death Cab for Cutie, Thom Yorke and Muse) and could be the best shot that "New Moon" has at Oscar gold.

When Lykke Li stopped by MTV News a few months ago to discuss the "New Moon" soundtrack, she told rock editor James Montgomery that the song's melody had been living in her head for a while, but it took a screening of the movie to make it complete. "I had this hook in my mind," she said. "I was watching the movie, and I was like, 'That's the hook!'"

As soon as she decided what the song would be, she finished writing it and recorded it the next day. But what was it about "New Moon" that gave Lykke Li the songwriting spark? "It was very much a discovery inside myself," she said. "I had this song growing inside me that had to get out, and I really connected with [Edward and Bella's] tortured love story."

The actress, who is no doubt busy prepping to reprise her role as Alice Cullen in "Eclipse," the next installment in the "Twilight" series, got involved with DonateMyDress.org because of her own experience trying to save up for prom.

"I bought my dress and I pretty much paid for everything because my parents really didn’t have the money to pay for something like that. I worked for it, so I think it meant that much more to me because I had to save up," she tells Prom2010.

In the end, Ashley put together enough to buy a fitted full-length dress with bronze and gold sequins and a plunging neckline (her mom made her cover-up with a shawl). She has since donated the dress to the charity. "I had my prom dress forever until I became a part of the charity and donated it," says Ashley. "It’s amazing to see girls’ faces light up [when given a dress]. It’s really fun because I get to interact with these girls and share the experience with them."

As for her big night, Ashley says it turned out perfect. "I went with my high school sweetheart and had a blast. I had that fairytale prom everyone talks about. It’s something I’ll remember forever."

Offentligt förnekar de fortfarande att det är ett par, men privat letar New Moon-stjärnorna Robert Pattinson och Kristern Stewart efter ett gemensamt hem. "De är inte redo att binda sig, men just nu är det bästa de kan göra att hitta ett avskilt och säkert hem där de kan ta reda på hur bra de egentligen passar ihop", berättar en vän, som tillägger att 23-årige Robert från London, och 19-åriga Kristen från LA har bott på hotell då de har velat spendera tid tillsammans.
 Men på senare tid har de alltså i hemlighet börjat leta hus i LA-områden som Beachwood Canyon och Hollywood Hills - och för tillfället nöjer de sig med hyresrätter. Och när det kommer till interjuver i tidningar och talkshows, kommer de på allt smartare sätt att inte svara på frågan som alla ställer: Dejtar ni?

Hon håller sina svar otroligt vaga: I en het story i Decembernumret av Harper´s Bazaar ställer skrivbenten Laura Brown frågan: Är det ett par? Utan att svara direkt, prisar Kristen Rob för att vara romantisk, och förklarar: "Jag tycker att romantik är allt som är ärligt. Så länge som det är ärligt, är det avväpnade." Sött - men vi önskar att hon hade svarat på frågan istället!

Letterman låter Rob gå: Efter ett snack om främlingar som ber Rob bita dem, frågade David Letterman Twilight-stjärnan rätt ut om han dejtar Kristen . "Jag har verkligen undvikit den här frågan genom hela pressturnén", sa Rob ochs kruvade på sig. Istället för att pressa honom, skfitade Dave tillbaka till skämthumör: "Äh, bit mig", avbröt han. "Vad bryr jag mig".

Han erkänner det - i ett skämt: När Todays Matt Lauer frågade Rob opm han är förlovad (som det stått i en tabloittidning) skämtade stjärnan "Ja!" . Han gick vidare med att "bekräfta" andra saker som sagts om honom, inklusive att han hade blivit påkörd av en taxi och tagit en överdos!

Han lämnade Seacrests studio: Stackars Ryan Seacrests: Allt han frågade var hur Rob hanterade ryktena om honom och Kristen. En pressrepresentant stoppade interjuven direkt, och Rob lämnade studion. "Jag blev avsnoppad för första gången någonsin", sa en chockad Ryan.

Han spelar ut vänskapskortet: I Decembernumret av Vanity Fair säger Robert att han och Kristen är "goda vänner" . Ingen tvekan om saken - men vänner kan vara älskande också!


Artikel 5 - Rob förstör karriären genom att dejta Kristen:



Twilight-skådespelarna Robert Pattinson och Kristen Stewart har sedan en tid tillbaka fått utstå en hel del spekulationer om sitt förhållande, något som gör Twilights producenter rasande! De tycker nämligen att Robert sätter sin karriär på spel genom att dejta sin motspelerska. Paret som har en romans både på vita duken och i verkliga livet gör producenterna irriterande eftersom de tror att förhållandet riskerar filmernas framgång. De oroar sig för alla tjejer som betalar biobiljett inte vill att Robert som är filmens stora dragplåster ska ha en flickvän! De har flera gånger bett Robert och Kristen att hålla förhållandet hemligt några månader, men de är så kära att det har svårt att inte visa det öppet. Vi får helt enklet vänta och se om New Moon och resten av serieen blir en lika stor succé som Twilight, trots deras förhållande!

At 19 years old, she already has an amazing 23 films under her belt. Yet, Kristen Stewart entered 2009 with a lot of questions: Was "Twilight" a fluke? How would the notoriously press-shy starlet handle A-list fame? And would "New Moon" "kill" her, as she promised?

2009 Highlights: It all began in the snowy mountains of Park City, Utah, where a bundled-up KStew arrived at the Sundance Film Festival to discover that paparazzi were everywhere — quite a difference from early 2008, when she walked down the streets unbothered. The "Twilight" star was there to unveil "Adventureland," a sweet coming-of-age drama that was well-received by critics and became a minor hit nationwide in April. Of course, 2010 will start out similarly for Kristen, as she'll be at Sundance next month with two films.

As the "New Moon" hype continued to build, KStew kept her indie cred intact. In March, she played a teenager suffering from a fatal nerve disease in "The Cake Eaters," a tiny character drama directed by Mary Stuart Masterson. KStew researched her role by spending time with real-life sufferers of Friedreich's ataxia and admitted that although she had a busy year ahead, she was glad the "Twilight" sequels were all filming so closely together.

Then, of course, the real craziness began. First came the MTV Movie Awards, where Kristen helped unveil first-look footage from "New Moon," shared a tender moment with Robert Pattinson and proved she's every bit as clumsy as Bella Swan. Later in the year, Kristen would return for the Video Music Awards alongside Rob and Taylor, this time considerably more glamorous.

Somewhere in-between all that, as she continued to shoot "Eclipse" and "The Runaways," KStew swung into San Diego's Comic-Con to hang out with 5,000 of her closest friends and unveil her new Joan Jett haircut.

A few chaotic months later, Kristen was at the "New Moon" premiere, looking beautiful as she walked the red carpet, and astronomical box-office predictions flew. On the verge of the sequel's release, Kristen took time out from hitting Hot Topic and had plenty to say about Rob's newfound confidence, whether she prefers Edward or Jacob, her desire to "do nothing," and how the filming gave her whiplash.

So how did that little "New Moon" movie do? Well, a record-breaking opening and worldwide devotion from half-a-billion dollars' worth of fans will certainly make Kristen's busy 2009 feel worthwhile. As she recently told us, KStew doesn't take it all too seriously — but clearly, her fans do.

In 2009, all eyes were on RPattz. Despite only releasing one movie, there were few people whose face sold more magazines, whose every word made more of a ripple and whose public appearances caused such a stir. Under such pressure, a lot of 23-year-old actors would end up getting into trouble, indulging to the point of excess and disappointing their fans. But somehow, the uniquely suited-for-stardom Robert Pattinson took it all with a good-natured grin and self-deprecating charm. In "Twilight" and beyond, his future seems so bright that he'll likely be sparkling for quite some time.

2009 Highlights: We all know Rob had a busy 2009, and everybody had their own thoughts on what he should do after "Twilight." Few saw his first move coming, however, as he dropped out of the indie flick "Parts Per Billion," leaving producer/star Rosario Dawson sad but promising the show would go on. In February, he showed up at the Oscars and stole attention away from stars as big as Brad and Angelina. Despite expressing fears that he might become "Twilighted out" while shooting "New Moon" and "Eclipse" back-to-back, he nevertheless got back to work as Edward Cullen.

At the MTV Movie Awards, Rob unveiled a new trailer from "New Moon," Kristen Stewart left him longing for a cold shower, and he cracked up watching KStew fumble her trophy. During an exclusive interview, he promised that "New Moon" would look "amazing." Rob later returned for the Video Music Awards alongside Kristen and Taylor Lautner and helped raise eyebrows with their fashionable duds.

Despite rumors that his reduced screen presence in "New Moon" would keep him away, Rob made a surprise appearance at San Diego's Comic-Con to show off footage from the movie, reflect on a hallucinating Bella and hang out with the geeks. Things sure were a lot different than they were a year ago — even if Rob insisted he's stayed the same.

In the midst of all the hype, rumors and insanity, Rob actually managed to make movement on some non-"Twilight" movies in 2009. His romantic drama "Remember Me," opposite Emilie de Ravin, had a memorable time shooting in New York, which appears to have left him brooding after that time he was almost killed by a taxi — or barely grazed, depending on whom you ask. He also signed on to "Unbound Captives," a western co-starring Rachel Weisz that offered Rob the chance to play a character who "can't really be more different from Edward." He also signed on to "Bel Ami," a film that pits him opposite Uma Thurman as a "totally immoral character."

But all that paled in comparison to when he hit the "New Moon" premiere, looking fashionable as he greeted the fans and talked about the good and bad parts of being, well, him. Fans freaked out when he hit the Hot Topic tour opening night, and in a very revealing Rough Cut with MTV News, he spoke about his lack of endorsement deals, why "New Moon" is his favorite "Twilight" book, what he loves about Kristen and Edward's annoying habit of parking his Volvo across multiple parking spaces.

To make a long story short, "New Moon" had a record-shattering opening and became one of the biggest films of 2009. Now, with Taylor Lautner hosting "Saturday Night Live," we continue to hope that RPattz can't be far behind — so let the guy write a sketch already! Edward might be a jerk, but of all the dudes who hang out in our office on a regular basis, Rob will always remain our favorite seasonal vegetable.

Which stars had the biggest 2009? Over the next week, we'll be unveiling our top nine most newsworthy, controversial and fascinating men and women of the year. We based our list on factors like music sales, box-office performance, MTVNews.com headlines and traffic, overall reach (crossover singles, appearances in movies, licensing of songs for commercials, clothing lines, etc.), plus X-factors like "impact" and "buzz." (And no, President Barack Obama didn't make the list — we'll leave that to the folks at Time.) This is by no means an exact science, but we think the list we've put together represents the men and women who helped make 2009 the most exciting and memorable 12 months in recent history.

Is your Gwen Stacy character going to have a big role in "Spider-Man 4"?

I don’t know. It was really made clear to me when we did "Spider-Man 3" that it was entirely possible that a character could come back or a character could not. This could be just a specific plot to that film, because there are so many stories in the comic-book series, if you want to pack in as much as possible. It’s up to ["Spider-Man" director] Sam [Raimi] and the writers and the people who have done such an amazing job protecting that franchise and choosing the best storylines for the audiences. I’m a fan first. I had an incredible time working with them, but what I want more than anything is just for that franchise to continue to kick butt and to really appease the really, really, loyal fans, including myself.

Have you been approached to do "Spider-Man 4"?

No. I haven’t. There’s no disappointment because it’s exciting … what’s happening to that franchise. I’m just happy that there’s going to be two more ["Spider-Man" movies]. During the third ["Spider-Man" movie], there was a question. And after it came out, it was pretty clear that people were really supportive of the franchise. I’m really stoked that it’s continuing on.

McG says that he wants to direct more "Terminator" movies. If he does, would you be on board for that?

Oh, yeah! I haven’t signed anything that would obligate them to me or me to them or anything like that, because that film ["Terminator Salvation"] was made with a lot of humility. We’ll do this one, the fact that we can, and if people ask for more, then they ask for more. But it’s an incredible group. We are all fiercely committed to the story. It’s "Terminator," for Christ’s sake. If it comes about, and if I should be so lucky that they invite me back, I would be loathe to walk away from that.

Will you play Victoria in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn"?

I don’t want to give anything away, but "Victoria has a life span," is what I’ll say. [She laughs.] That’s all I can say about that.

Can you talk about your experience in joining the "Twilight" franchise?

I was really struck by what an incredible group of young people are in that franchise. Their friendships are so genuine, and they really ground each other. And there is a lot going on around them. There’s a lot of attention and scrutiny, but I’m truly moved by how solid they’ve remained in their values and belief systems and their caring of one another throughout all of that. You hope for that in a franchise.

Part of the reason to come back together is to tell a story but also to come back together because everyone genuinely enjoys working with one another. And it was a really, really positive experience for that reason — other than set aside the fact that I’ve read the ["Twilight"] books and loved the books from the very beginning and these characters are extraordinary. It’s such an absorbing story that I just felt very lucky, given the unfortunate circumstances surrounding it, that I was just invited in. I hope that "Eclipse" continues this trend of being really reverent of what ["Twilight" book series author] Stephenie [Meyer] created with the books.

What advice would you have for an actor who is doing a role that was previously played by someone else? A lot of people thought you handled yourself well in the controversy over your "Eclipse" casting.

We’ll see. The jury is still out, because Rachelle [Lefevre] really created an incredible character and is exquisite. I fell like the uproar that occurred was really appropriate, because part of the joy of seeing a franchise, it’s almost like a television series. You’ve seen the actors grow with the franchise. And [Lefevre’s] unavailability [to do "Eclipse"] was really, really, really unfortunate. Advice? Gosh. Just to do your best and be über-respectful. She won that role for a reason. I hope to honor everything that she created.

Continuity: After Bella awakes from the first nightmare, we see her Romeo and Juliet book on the pillow beside her. When Charlie brings in her presents the book is gone, but then reappears on the pillow between shots.

Continuity: Bella goes to Italy to save Edward. Alice drops Bella off – when Bella gets out of the car to ask where Edward will be, first you see Bella in front of the car door, then she is suddenly behind the car door.

Visible crew/equipment: In the montage scenes where we see Bella’s depression, when the camera is circling her, the camera man is shown in the mirror (twice) behind her.

Continuity: When Edward takes Bella to the forest to tell her he is leaving, Bella’s hair hangs down her back. But in a following shot most of it is tucked up in the hood of her coat.

Continuity: When Alice jumps over the staircase in school to wish Bella happy birthday, between shots during the scene the positioning of the decorated scarf around her neck varies.

Continuity: When Bella pulls up at the Black’s, she spots Jacob, gets out of her truck and her door doesn’t fully close . Later you can see in the background that the door is firmly shut.

Revealing: The rims of the vampires contacts can be spotted occasionally during the film, especially the Volturi’s during the ending scenes, e.g. Jane’s in the elevator.

Continuity: When Alice is driving Bella to the Volturi, she is wearing a headscarf and sunglasses. During the scene the way the headscarf is tied changes; the size and shape of the knot (and the colours on the knot) are different.

Continuity: When Mike and Jacob are standing outside the cinema waiting for Bella, between shots the Burger King takeaway bag sitting on the trashcan next to them changes position.

Factual error: When Bella is flying to Italy they show a Virgin America airplane. Virgin America only flies within certain cities in the US. Virgin Atlantic flies from the US to Europe.

Continuity: When Jacob first shows off his tattoo, it is up at the top of his shoulder. Then when he is in the forest at the end with Bella and Edward, his tattoo is about 2 inches further down his arm.

Factual error: In the main title when the giant new moon appears on the screen the shadow fades over the moon from right to left when it should actually fade from left to right. The moon travels around the earth clockwise. The waning moon should turn to a new moon, not the waxing which is shown.

Visible crew/equipment: In the very last scene, right before the ultimatum, if you look into the tail lights on Edward’s car you can see various members of the crew reflected.

Continuity: When Bella is at the cafeteria table with Mike and he is asking her to the movies her hair keeps moving from behind her ear to hanging, and back again.

Continuity: When Edward and Bella turn around to leave the Volturi Chamber, Edward’s robe is tied. When they show them leaving from the back it is undone.

Taylor Lautner is poised to become the next face of Giorgio Armani. According to a fashion insider, the Italian designer is trying to sign the Twilight hunk for a new ad campaign for fragrances, as well as for his more affordable line of clothing, A/X Armani Exchange.

“Giorgio has offered Taylor a deal rumored to be worth millions for the ads,” the insider reveals. And although a rep for Taylor denies the story, the insider adds, “Taylor is flattered and really considering it.” If he does take the job, he’ll have some big briefs to fill. Soccer star David Beckham sent huge crowds into hysterics when he turned up at Selfridges & Co. in London to unveil his underwear ad.

Taylor completely bulked up to play the werewolf Jacob in New Moon. “I went from a men’s small to a men’s large,” he says.

He’s dismayed about Samantha Tumpach’s arrest Nov. 28 at a Rosemont movie theater on a felony charge of illegally copying his new hit film, and he’s contacted the film’s studio about his concerns.

“Needless to say, the case seems to me terribly unfair and I would like to do what I can to address this,” Weitz wrote in an e-mail.

Tumpach told the Sun-Times last week that she was taping parts of her sister’s surprise 29th birthday party celebrated at the Muvico Theater — including her and other family members singing “Happy Birthday.”

The three minutes of footage she shot inside the theater, Tumpach said, also included film previews and ads, along with short segments of the film — and her talking about the camera and the movie.

“It was never my intention to record the movie,” Tumpach said. “You can hear me talking the whole time.”

Weitz questioned whether her arrest was justified.

“There is, needless to say, a difference between trying to protect the copyright of a film and making an unfair example of someone who clearly seems not to have any intentions towards video piracy,” Weitz wrote.

He said he had contacted the studio that released the film, Summit Entertainment, to express his concern about her arrest, but he acknowledged there’s probably little he can do to influence the outcome of her case.

“I am not sure what effect I would have on the case,” he wrote, noting “the film is, after all, not my property.”

Robert Pattinson, who starred in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire with Bonnie Wright and Matthew Lewis, was “very funny” on set and kept the cast laughing.

Matthew Lewis, who plays Neville Longbottom, said: “He’s doing incredibly, I haven’t spoken to Rob in about three years but I remember when he was on the film and he was a great guy to be around, he was very funny and he was very out there but he was cool. I think he’s still got my Guns ‘n’ Roses CD… if he’s watching this, I want it back.”

To all the wonderful, incredibly loyal fans:

For those of you that read that I was in rehab, I wanted to make sure you heard the truth from me directly. Yes it is true, that I was in rehab, however it was over 19 months ago, long before NEW MOON was even on my radar. It was a pivotal time in my life where I was lucky enough to have supportive friends and family to help me get healthy. I am grateful that I have been clean and sober now for 19 months and cannot imagine my life if I had continued using drugs and alcohol. Almost everything else that was written about this is blatantly false and we are exploring our legal options. That was my past, and I am thankful that I had the opportunity to create a new future for myself. I encourage anyone who is in a similar place to seek support from their friends and family and know that without them, I would not have had the chance to be where I am now.

I want to thank all of you for the support you have shown, and continue to show. I appreciate each and every one of you.

Paramount has confirmed to me exclusively that it’s hired 8-pack-abs Taylor Lautner for the lead in Max Steel, instantly creating perhaps the next young big action star. (The Twilight Saga phenom is only 17 years old, and the Summit Entertainment folks predicted to me a year ago that he’d end up in demand for this kind of role after he bulked up for New Moon.)

This is the Joe Roth-produced project based on the hugely successful Mattel property that’s an international bestseller. The movie will receive a major push planned as Mattel raises its stateside presence with the Paramount release. I’m told Max Steel will be a four-quadrant popcorn movie in the spirit of Iron Man about a 19-year-old extreme sports junkie recruited by a secret agency after an accident infects his body, leaving him with superhuman powers. The screenwriters are also young, Chad Damiani & JP Lavin, who started getting attention around town with their action-comedy script Kamikaza Love as well as Sons Of The Hammer and Capeshooters. This is yet another big young action star for the studio under Paramount Film Group president Adam Goodman along with the recent announcement that Chris Pine is attached to the Jack Ryan franchise from Tom Clancy.

Then there’s Shia LeBoeuf, whom then DreamWorks exec Goodman put in Disturbia which he was overseeing, and Paramount cast in the Transformers franchise. Smart to start the youth movement (Sony Pics did that with Tobey Maguire and Spider-Man), not just because the young-uns can play the part for years, but even better they won’t break a hip doing it.

Ett litet tips till er alla om ni inte vill spendera 3 år i fängelse för att spela in din älsklings film på bio:

A birthday party that included a trip to see ”The Twilight Saga: New Moon” could send 22 year old Samantha Tumpach to prison for three years.

Samantha Tumpach from Chicago Illinois, captured 3 minutes of the film on her video camera why taping part of her sisters surprise birthday party.

The managers at the theater contacted the police and Tumpach was arrested. She spent two days in jail and now has felony charges to face for illegally copying a movie.

There is a zero tolerance policy that prohibits video or audio recording of any portion of a movie. The motion picture industry has encouraged this.

She only recorded a small portion for a birthday video, but it’s up to local police to determine what happens from this point forward.

I really don’t know where I stand on this. I for one believe that piracy is very wrong and people should be punished for it. However with something like this I don’t think she deserves 3 years in prison either. She’s not going to sell the video or anything like that. So it’s up to the law to figure out where to go from here now.

With "New Moon" still riding high at the box office and poised to become one of the highest-grossing films of the year — if not all time — the world can't seem to get enough of Robert Pattinson. It's a good thing, then, that our pals over at MTV Radio recently spoke with the "Twilight" heartthrob.

Last week, we brought you RPattz's thoughts on romances, both onscreen and off. Now, as those Thanksgiving leftovers wear thin, we're happy to dish out part two of that interview, featuring some yummy tidbits on Rob's 90-year-old fans, jealousy over Taylor's bod, and his New Year's resolution to be less self-deprecating.

MTV: Taylor Lautner's transformation between the movies is now the stuff of legend. Tell us about the first time you saw him and what you thought.

Robert Pattinson: I didn't see Taylor until just a little bit before we started shooting ["New Moon"]. When he came back, I had the same reaction as everybody else. I was like, "Jeez, now I have to go to the gym!" But yeah, it was strange. This one was weird, because I hardly did any scenes with Taylor. We did the scenes at the beginning and scenes at the end [together], and he had his entire story line develop without me being around, which is interesting, because I had no idea where his performance was going. So it wasn't really a competition or anything; it was all independent. Whereas in "Eclipse," we're doing scenes together all the time with Bella.

MTV: Who is your favorite movie vampire of all time?

Pattinson: Wow, I don't really know. I always think of the wrong people. I always think Christian Slater in "Interview With a Vampire," but he's not the vampire — he's the interviewer! I really like Wesley Snipes [in the "Blade" movies]. I think Wesley Snipes is great.

MTV: Out of all the "Twilight" stars, you seem to do the fewest interviews. Why is that?

Pattinson: I think it's such a risky thing doing interviews. I try to limit the amount of interviews I do, because no one is that interesting, especially when you're not really saying anything. I don't particularly want to be some kind of character in society or whatever. So I guess the only thing you can do is do jobs and see if people respond to that.

MTV: You tease yourself as "not saying anything," and a lot of people see you as being self-deprecating. Are you?

Pattinson: I'm always told that I don't really know who I am, so hopefully I won't compartmentalize myself because of that. I am just completely ignorant of [how others perceive me]. I've never really struggled with anything up until recently. I've got to stop being so self-depreciating, because people are starting to believe it. They're like, "Yeah, that guy is an idiot." So I've tried to stop doing that.

MTV: What was the last fan interaction that really made you laugh?

Pattinson: I always find it funny when older people come up. There was a woman who came up to me the other day who must have been in her 90s! And she said all this stuff; it's very unusual. And they say exactly the same things as 12-year-old girls! That is kind of bizarre.
