While I am not a “Twilight” expert, I do pay attention to the world of vampires as many of you out there care a great deal about them. So at today’s press junket for “The Twilight Saga: New Moon”, one of the big things I tried to find out was what is the status of the movie version of the last “Twilight” book, “Breaking Dawn”. When I asked Kristen Stewart if she knew what was up with “Breaking Dawn” and if the rumors about it being two movies were true, the moderator quickly said next question and wouldn’t let her answer.
But when I had the opportunity to ask Robert Pattinson the last question at today’s press junket, I made the most of it. I asked him if he has been told of a tentative time he might film “Breaking Dawn”? He replied:
“I think the tentative time for “Breaking Dawn” is fall next year. They may well change that.”
What you need to realize is many things change. Perhaps “New Moon” doesn’t do as well at the box office as the first “Twilight” movie. Or perhaps they can’t get the script right. While things might change, Pattinson’’s statement of fall 2010 is the first time anyone in the cast has admitted there is a plan. Much more on “Twilight: New Moon” later tonight.

Which is the gender cliché that you’re embarrassed to say you succumb to?
Nikki: I actually really enjoy putting on make-up, not because I think I look better, but I really like art and painting.
Kellan: Football, sport in general. Although I have a lot of female friends who are into football just as much as me, that’s why I love hanging out with the girls, they get so into it and that’s sexy to me.
Jackson: I can’t clean. I really can’t, I’m not very good at it, I’m actually a poor cleaner. My level of cleanliness is far below most, I wear the same pants every day, I get at least 2-3 wearings out of my socks. Not in a row – they sit in my dirty pile.

Jackson: I’m not into sports. I used to play a lot of baseball as a kid but I’ve never followed it I was always much more into art.
Ashley: I’m a real college football girl and I like hockey games. They’re really brutal but I enjoy them. I was a tomboy when I was growing up, I climbed trees and stuff.
Which member of the cast would you get to cook dinner?
Nikki: Peter Facinelli
Kellan: Ashley
Ashley: Peter Facinelli – he always says he’s cooked too much and invites us round to eat it!
Jackson: Peter Facinelli
Who in the cast would you go to for relationship advice?
Kellan: Ashley Greene. We’re very close and it’s great to have someone especially as you work with them, just to talk to for advice.
Nikki: Elizabeth Reaser. She has a good head on her shoulders
Ashley: I ask Kellan a lot about guys because he’s honest with me and she’s new but Bryce Dallas Howard is really nurturing and kind of motherly.
Jackson: Peter Facinelli. He’s got a wife, kids, beautiful home. That’s gorgeous. Someday hopefully, I’m taking tips from him.
Which member of the cast would you get to style you?
Nikki: Kellan
Kellan: Alex Meraz, who plays one of the werewolves, has good style.
Ashley: Rachelle Lefevre, although Kristen and I have the same taste in jeans
Jackson: Ashley
Which of the New Moon cast would you choose to help in fight?
Nikki: Jackson
Kellan: None. I wouldn’t need the help in a fight!
Ashley: Kellan
Jackson: Nikki

Interjuv med Stephenie och en med Billy!
Stephenie:
Vad läser du just nu, Stephenie?

Interjuv med Charlie Bewley i The 5:19 Show!
From child star to vicious bloodsucker -- Dakota Fanning has transformed into the baddest newbie in "New Moon" and she loved every second of it.
"I think it's more fun to play a bad person than a good person," Dakota admits of her character Jane, a member of the evil Volturi vampire clan. "She almost blows your mind how evil she is."
Fanning, 15, wore red contacts and white powder in the film. "I thought I was pale before I did the movie, but I realized that I'm not!" Dakota jokes.
See the official photos of the Volturi
Like Dakota, vampire Robert Pattinson kept his skin f
air for the shooting of the movie -- and tells "Extra" he thinks it's funny that his pale disposition, once considered sickly, makes girls swoon. "It's funny. People were like, 'He looks like a junkie.' And now, 'Oh, he's so good looking!'"
Check out shirtless photos of Rob from the set of "New Moon"
Rob, 23, still isn't completely comfortable with life in the spotlight. "I get nervous about everything. I get nervous about leaving the house!" Anonymity for the rising star is no longer an option. "Now I know it's too late to change my name. I really wanted to change my name to have a stage name. Now if I change it, I just look really lame."
Taylor Lautner can relate to Rob's feeling about fame. "Oh man, it's so embarrassing," he tells "Extra," laughing.

“Twilight star Robert Pattinson vaulted to fame as immortal vampire Edward Cullen, but he admits the vampire lifestyle is not for him. For one, he doesn’t think he would want to live forever.
Pattinson has been immersed all things vampire during shooting for sequel “New Moon” and now the follow up, “Eclipse.”
But he’s taken a break and is on a press tour of Australia and New Zealand ahead of New Moon’s debut next month.
Despite his fondness for the “Twilight saga and his character, Pattinson insists he'll be happy to finally be finished with the film series, after the concluding “Breaking Dawn.” And, he’d never want to be a vampire himself.
"When you think about it, being a vampire means you have to kill people and feed on their blood, but all you get in return is you can run really fast, or throw things around. That's kind of a lame trade-off," he surmises.
"It's the same with living forever. I wouldn't want to, under any circumstance. I don't think anyone would want to, would they? It's like my great aunt.
"She's 97 and a very, very funny woman but every time I talk to her she says things like; 'When you next come to see me, can you please bring me some poison?' I'm like; 'Yeah, OK' because I know what she means. Live forever? I couldn't think of anything worse..."
He told the New Zealand Herald that playing Cedric Diggory in “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” and now the Twilight series have turned his life upside down.
"One of the weirdest days was when we started shooting New Moon at this high school, in Canada. The school was still open, so there were kids everywhere," he said.
"We did this scene, where we were just walking around the corridors but, after every take, all the kids started applauding. It was the same whenever a class came out after a lesson: they'd all clap. That was really bizarre - one of the strangest days ever."

Kristen Prout Interjuv
Prout spelar Lucy i Eclipse:
Because it sounds like Kirsten Prout is all about Robert Pattinson. Or Edward Cullen, anyway. When asked if she were on Team Jacob or Team Edward, she answered, "Okay, I am team Edward, I am sorry Jacob fans but it's Edward, they are meant to be together."
So, should Kristen Stewart watch out? Well, probably not. We think Kirsten Prout simply meant that she wants Bella and Edward to be together. And not necessarily that she wants Edward for herself. We love a logical girl. After all, we usually tend to base our choices on who's hotter!
Kirsten is excited to be playing a vampire in Eclipse, especially after all her girl-next-door parts. She say it's, "a good change because for a long time it was that little dimpled girl next door, and everyone's going to be like she's biting someone." Kirsten is smart to be wanting to play a wide variety of parts. Not that it's not exciting enough to be in a Twilight movie!
She says of her character Lucy, "The character is extremely predatory and what's amazing about playing a vampire is you are a predator and you lure in your pray and then you turn on them" and believes she was partly chosen for the role because of how pale she is! They didn't have to do any air-brushing on her because she's quite pale enough.

Ashley Greene Interjuv!
TSR.com: What was it like growing up in Jacksonville?
AG: Growing up in Jax… it was awesome. Jacksonville’s a great city and I was blessed with an amazing family. My mom, my dad and Joe are everything to me. My friends from there, I still talk with mostly of them, they’re great too. That’s why I always say that if someday I get married and have kids, I want to go back to Florida.
TSR.com: When and how did you know that you wanted to be an actor?
AG: I always was part of the drama club in school, but I decided that I wanted to be an actress, like 100% sure, when I came to LA. I’m tiny, so I can’t be a model like… don’t know, Bar Refaeli, and acting is amazing, I love everything about being an actress.
TSR.com: What was your very first acting job and how did it go?
AG: My first first job. Punk’d. It was so freaking awesome because the cast and crew were so funny and kind. Plus, I met Ashton Kutcher and that’s pretty cool.
TSR.com: The various mediums of acting can have very different requirements and advantages, what medium do you prefer to work in film or TV and why?
AG: I like both. There’s good and bad stuff in both. For example, films are cool, you can see all the producer’s work and you can go to awesome places like BC for the Twilight Saga, for example, but you have to be apart of your family, friends and people you love for months. But that also means I have fun traveling around the world and I have great great great 3-months-vacays. Now, TV… is cool. Crew and cast are so awesome, is like work with your 2nd family because you know EVERYONE. But it takes more time to film and is like high school schedule and blah blah blah. So… I guess both are cool, but I’m more into movies than get a job in some TV series.
TSR.com: What was your first impression of Twilight when you auditioned?
AG: I never thought is would be something as big, as huge at it is. Twilight is like WOW. I thought it was going to be great and everything, I thought it was going to be something like Scary Movie-famous, but I never thought it was going to be this big, like… don’t know… Harry Potter-famous. Transformers… don’t know. I don’t know if you get my idea, but is awesome being part of something like Twilight and the Saga.
TSR.com: What’s your favorite book in the series?
AG: I’m between New Moon and Eclipse. But I love them all.
TSR.com: Are you Team Edward or team Jacob?
AG: Ughhhh… harsh. I really really adore Rob and Edward’s awesome, but I’m Team Jacob. Is just… You gotta love Taylor, he plays an amazing Jacob, so… my heart belongs to him. Hahaha!
TSR.com: Once you had the role of Alice Cullen, how did you prepare for the role?
AG: I read the book, read my script and talked to Stephenie. She helped me to create the current Alice.
TSR.com: In New Moon Alice plays a larger than in Twilight and a new style. Are you happy with how Alice is evolving in the saga?
AG: Of course! That’s why I like NM and Eclipse more than Twilight and BD! Hahahaha! Kidding. Is awesome, but that also means I have more lines to learn! But I love it, I love my job so, everything’s great.
TSR.com: Are there any traits or similarities between yourself and Alice?
AG: We’re both tiny. Hahaha! Well, Alice’s one happy kid, and I’m a happy person too. I’m like smiling all the time and I really don’t like to see people sad so, I make them laugh and everything. I’m really into fashion, but Alice kick my butt x10 times. She’s a fashionista and I love it. I love her fashion sense and, I want her closet!
TSR.com: Do you think you can relate to Alice? What do you admire most about Alice? Where are you most different?
AG: We really look alike. She’s a loyal girl and she loves her family and friends and I’m like that. I would do everything for them. Now… different… hmmm. She has a boyfriend, I don’t. Hahahaha!
TSR.com: We know that a lot of acting on a TV or movie is waiting. Do you have one particular activity you like to do while waiting?
AG: Call my mom. Or any of my friends. Or talk to my friends thru AIM. Actually, I talk. To everyone. Oh! And annoy Rob. That’s my favorite thing to do.
TSR.com: Were you prepared for the huge acclaim that the movies have received, and the devoted fan following that it has?
AG: As I said, I never thought this would be this big. So all I can say is that I’m really grateful of all the fans. It feels really good to know that people like your work and everything. It’s really… awesome!
TSR.com: What’s been your favorite scene to film so far?
AG: High school graduation. I loved it. It made me remember my graduation.
TSR.com: Are there types of roles that you’re hoping to do, that you haven’t had the chance to do yet?
AG: I would like to play something like Holly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. I would LOVE IT. Absolutely love it.
TSR.com: Also it was obvious that the cast seem to be very tight. Do you guys have fun behind the scenes or is it a fairly serious atmosphere? Do you have any behind the scenes stories you’d like to share?
AG: We’re all like brothers and sisters, so we’re having fun all the time. Funny stories? Well, there’s a lot. But one funny thing we’re always doing with Kellan, Jack and Xavier is annoy Rob singing Katy Perry or Miley’s songs. We suck as singers, so we freak him out terribly.
TSR.com: Do you find yourself being easily recognized on the streets? How do you handle that if so?
AG: Talking to people is always nice. Fans are very respectful and everything. Now, dealing with the paparazzi… that’s another story. It’s kinda hard sometimes but we all know is part of the job.
TSR.com: What do you enjoy doing in your spare time (if you have any!)?
AG: Hahahaha! We’re always going to Starbucks with Jackson or going shopping with the girls. And we’re going to have dinner with the cast on weekends, or go to concerts. We always find something fun to do together.
TSR.com: Do you have a favorite charity?
AG: Yes. Donate my dress. You all can go to www.donatemydress.org and find more info about it!
TSR.com: Do you participate in any of the social networking sites (facebook, twitter, myspace)?
AG: Yeah. My twitter is .@ashleymgreene; my Myspace was (because I can’t remember the password so I’m not using Myspace currently) myspace.com/ashleymichele. I don’t have any other spaces.
TSR.com: You’ve mentioned that you originally wanted to become a model. What was it that drew you into the modeling world?
AG: Honestly? I don’t know. Modeling’s one interesting world. I love fashion, so probably that’s what made me go into the modeling world.
TSR.com: What has been the most rewarding experience due to you being in the Twilight Saga?
AG: Probably get all the fan mail when people from all over the world tell me that they like my job, that I’m doing good work with Alice… I’m really grateful of all the love and support of the Twilight fans.
TSR.com: Do you ever visit fan sites to read about yourself or Twilight?
AG: Sometimes. I don’t have plenty of time to check out every page, but sometimes I read some cute notes and everything. All the pages are really respectful and I’m really thankful of that.
TSR.com: Are there any other projects you are doing or going to be starting post-Twilight?
AG: Not really, honestly I’m looking forward to my vacations. Hahahaha!
TSR.com: Have you heard any rumors about when/if production for Breaking Dawn will happen?
AG: I can’t say a word about Breaking Dawn. Sorry!
TSR.com: What is the craziest thing a fan has done to get your attention?
AG: A boy from Vancouver sent me 111 white roses once. He’s 15. I loved it. He sent me this cute adorable little note telling me I was the best Alice in the world and everything and I loved it. After that he came with his mom to the hotel and we talked. He was a cutie pie. So adorable. He spend all his saved money to send me the roses. How cute’s that?

Robert is the perfect example of what the media and fame are capable of doing. It’s a huge stroke of luck, brutal and well-aimed that all of a sudden launches you to the highest peak of worldwide attention, away from good and evil. Something very tempting and rare.
“I wasn’t expecting having this much success. It’s something I still can’t understand. The truth is that in certain occasions I feel dizzy and I still don’t know how to handle so much attention” he expresses, in a very shy voice, almost like a whisper, as if he was telling us a secret. His eyes, so clear they’re almost transparent, stare attentively at us and distract us. It’s not easy resisting his charms! His honesty wins us over though, because far from finding a male diva, we discover, little by little a sensitive man. Warm and charming. We don’t hesitate in sharing with him what we really think: luck, yes, it’s fundamental, but if it doesn’t come hand in hand with talent and magic, everything remains just an anecdote. Robert smiles, he likes the idea. For now he knows that in talent he has exceeded expectations but he worries that he might not be up to the hype and the phenomenon that he’s become. It’s clear to us; charisma is authentic. And after this interview, there’s no doubts about it.
Last time we saw you, Twilight was about to be released and you said you didn’t know what to expect of the movie, and that everybody was looking forward to it. After all the success and box office numbers, how do you feel?
It’s very strange. I can say that everything has happened very fast. Like I’m fast-forwarding through life. Like everything around me is happening at 1000 m/p. The way you fast-forward a movie, just like that. I never thought the movie would cause such a stir. Seeing girls screaming around me is so bizarre. Sometimes I can’t believe is all about me. It’s like I’m living inside a movie, but I wake up and it’s all real. I see that it’s real and how much my life has changed. I still don’t know in which ways my life has changed, I’m still figuring that out. And I don’t know why but I think it’s going to take me a long time to figure it out. I guess it’s normal, don’t you think?
Of course! But we can’t deny that you’re already such a phenomenon by yourself. You have fans waiting for your next movie and wondering what you’re up to. Are you aware of that?
Yes, in fact, that’s the most strange part of it. For instance, I haven’t been able to see the final cut of New Moon, and I’ve read so many comments and opinions about it already. It’s something I can’t understand. It’s like everyone else can read into your future or, like they have more information of your life than yo
Does it affect you what tabloids say about you and seeing yourself in the cover of these magazines?
Not at all. I don’t like to read them or be aware of what they say. At all. It’s something I avoid completely. I do my work, live my life and follow my intuitions. I make my decisions the best way that I can and that’s it. If you pay attention to any of that, you’ll lose. I’m aware of that and I try to be very careful about it. I try to live away from that, saving my self disgusts and headaches.
In Twilight we got to see some sexual tension between Bella and Edward. That’s something very enigmatic. Will that continue in the rest of the movies?
I don’t think there was sexual tension, nor do I think that that’s the focus of the movies. I don’t see it that way. I think it’s a stroy about what it means to commit to a feeling and to the person that you love. Above all, it’s about finding someone to love despite having to fight so many problems that might show up. What hooks you about the movie, I’m convinced about it, is that it talks about the fear of what can happen to you if you fall in love and give yourself away completely. Realising how far you can go for love, passion and being amazed by it. People identify with it more than you can imagine. To me it’s not even a story about vampires, but about feelings that we’ve all felt before. It talks about the fear of feeling those things. It’s a movie with so many meanings, that’s why I like it and I think that’s why people like it too.
Tell about how you can’t expect what’s going to happen when you go out.
Yes, it’s something I’m still taking in. I’m plain, I like normal things. But now there’s rumors about the places I like to visit, and I can’t go to those places anymore. One time I tried. I wanted to celebrate my birthday on the same place I always go to, and it was a total failure, There was so many people, I couldn’t have a good time. From that point on, I try to avoid places where I can be seen and become the object of paparazzi and curious people. I also avoid the hip, famous places where people think I might be at. I’ve changed them for darker places, those dodgy places where there’s good food and music. It’s sounds crazy, but I’ve had to develope strategies to go out with my friends and have a normal life. It’s the dark side of fame. But I don’t complain. I just asume that I have to deal with it now. Not everything can be perfect. I have so much already, having the oportunity of living from acting. It would be unfiar to say that I’m unlucky.
There are actors who would die to be in your shoes. Would you say that it’s a double life? The one that you live in front of the cameras, in red carpets and the one you live intimately?
Yes. In the end you have your real life and the one they make up in inteviews, not caring if what they’re saying is true or false. What’s true is that I’m too normal and I give them no material to write, so I’m an easy prey for make up stories. I should go wild and do crazy things so they have something to write about. My flaw for those tabloids is that I’m too calm and quiet (laughs).
And in those moments of intimacy and privacy, is it true hat you like to play the guitar? What do you do when you’re by yourself?
I do play the guitar. I have friends in Vancouver and I get together with them to play the guitar, listen to music. We spend the nights singing and swapping stories. I also do that when I’m at hotels. It’s relaxing. Music is my other passion. I hope I never leave it.
Speaking of passion and music, we know you write songs. What can you share about it?
I’m trying to write some songs for the next movie. I don’t know if it will be possible because of my schedule, but I want to do it. Music is the other side of me, it’s one of the things that complete me and I wouldn’t want to leave it aside for anything in the world. I have the intention of evolving in that aspect. It’s something I want to develope just as much as acting. I want to have a balance between those two things.
What other artistic endeavours are you interested in?
I always wanted to be a pianist and live in the south of France (laughs). But I’ve learned that it’s not important how you do things, but the final outcome. In life you always end up doing what you like. And nothing completes you more than that.
Do you have a spiritual side?
I believe in Karma. I believe it exists and whatever you do in your everyday life makes the eprson that you are. What you give in life comes back to you. I’m convinced of that, so I’m sure that everyday you have to be a good person and treat everyone with respect. We’re all connected.
We know you can’t say much about New Moon, but don’t leave before you tell us, did you have to go to some place dark to play this vampire again?
Yes, the truth is that the way I wanted to play Edward was less powerful. He’s a character that can’t change his condition, he didn’t choose his fate. He was unconcious when Carlisle turned him into a vampire. When he woke up, three days later, he realized that in oder to survive he would have to kill people. Imagine what would you feel like if you knew you would never grow old and that you would live forever. And what’s worse, you didn’t look for it. You become a sort of Superman without even wanting to be that, you were just a 17 year old kid. You must feel a huge impotence and frustration. Instead of believeing you’re hero, you’re a person who can’t find himself and doesn’t know who he is. Understanding that has been fundamental in understanding Edward. That very human side of him is what I love about him and I feel like I can relate to that. There’s something we all find hard to change and face about ourselves.
